Pakistan would make a final choice whether to send its cricket team to India for the T20 World Cup in the next few days.
The decision came after a detailed meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman took to X and stated that the matter is being looked by considering all available options. Further, he stated that the decision would be finalized by Firday or next Monday.

Earlier, sources reported that the team would participate in the T20 World Cup matches in India.
According to sources, Pakistan would also formally lodge a protest with the International Cricket Council (ICC) over Bangladesh’s removal from the World Cup.
Conflicting reports have emerged regarding Pakistan’s participation in the T20 World Cup. While some sources claim Pakistan will take part in the tournament, others suggest the team may withdraw.
Meanwhile, sources say Pakistan has decided to boycott its World Cup match against India. The decision was reportedly made during a high-level meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The Pakistan-India World Cup match was scheduled to be played on February 15 in Colombo.
Pakistan’s protest over the ICC’s conduct has intensified, with the boycott of the high-profile match being described as a major step. Analysts warn that the cancellation of the Pakistan–India clash could result in significant financial losses for the ICC, as the match is considered one of the most lucrative fixtures in international cricket.
