Bollywood actor Nadeem Khan, who appeared in the propaganda film Dhurandhar, was arrested by Mumbai Police over allegations of sexually assaulting his domestic worker for a decade.
According to Indian media reports, the arrest followed a complaint filed by a 41-year-old woman.
The complainant stated that she had previously worked in several actors’ households as a domestic worker and became acquainted with Nadeem Khan several years ago. She alleged that Khan had promised to marry her and, based on that promise, sexually assaulted her multiple times over the past ten years.
The incidents reportedly took place both at the woman’s residence in Malvani and at Nadeem Khan’s home in Versova.
A police official told Indian media that based on the woman’s statement, a case was registered and the accused was taken into custody.
