The base prices of players for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 auction have been announced.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi attended a detailed workshop on the PSL 11 player auction. The auction is scheduled for February 11. Players’ base prices and bidding amounts will be set in Pakistani rupees.
The base price for the top category has been fixed at Rs42 million. The second category has a base price of Rs22 million, while the third category has been set at Rs11 million. The fourth category will carry a base price of Rs6,000,000.
Each franchise will be allowed a minimum squad size of 16 players and a maximum of 20 players. Teams may include between five and seven overseas players in their squads. The playing XI must include at least three and no more than four foreign players.
Each team will be required to include two under-23 uncapped players in its squad, with at least one under-23 player mandatory in the playing XI. Players selected through the auction will receive two-year contracts. Franchises have also been granted the option to directly sign one foreign player.
