New details have emerged about the long-rumoured fallout at Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding, as the event’s DJ has publicly addressed Victoria Beckham’s controversial dance moment for the first time.
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding DJ, Fat Tony, has shared his account of the incident that reportedly caused distress during the couple’s lavish April 2022 wedding.
Speaking in a recent interview, the DJ said he was present throughout the three-day celebrations, providing music for the welcome party, the wedding ceremony, and the post-wedding Sunday brunch.
According to him, the aftermath of the wedding night became a major talking point among guests the following morning.
Fat Tony described the Sunday brunch as “the most awkward part of it all,” explaining that guests openly discussed what had happened on the dance floor the previous night.
He said the atmosphere was tense, as many attendees were still reacting to the unexpected turn of events during what was meant to be the newlyweds’ special moment.
Marc Anthony performance sets the scene
The DJ recalled that singer Marc Anthony was performing live during the wedding reception.
During his set, Anthony invited Brooklyn Beckham onto the stage, leading guests to believe that Nicola Peltz would soon join him for their first dance as husband and wife.
“Everyone was expecting it to be Nicola,” Fat Tony explained.
Victoria Beckham Joins Brooklyn on Stage
Instead, Marc Anthony reportedly called Victoria Beckham onto the stage, describing her as “the most beautifulest woman in the room.”
According to the DJ, this unexpected announcement changed the mood instantly.
Brooklyn, who believed he was about to share his first dance with Nicola, appeared visibly upset when his mother joined him in front of the guests.
Fat Tony claimed the moment deeply affected Nicola Peltz.
He said the bride left the room “crying her eyes out” as Brooklyn remained on stage with his mother.
The DJ added that Marc Anthony encouraged the pair to dance closely, making the situation even more uncomfortable for those watching.
Describing the scene, Fat Tony said the dance had a Latin style, with Anthony urging Brooklyn to place his hands on his mother’s hips.
“This situation didn’t just make the bride and groom awkward,” he noted. “Everyone in the room was awkward.”
The DJ suggested the moment cast a shadow over what was otherwise a carefully planned and high-profile celebration.
Brooklyn’s allegations resurface
The DJ’s comments come days after Brooklyn Beckham shared a series of Instagram stories accusing his mother of “hijacking” his first dance with Nicola and behaving inappropriately.
Brooklyn, the eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, has previously hinted at tensions within the family, but his recent posts reignited public scrutiny.
As of now, Victoria Beckham has not publicly responded to the allegations or the DJ’s remarks.
The incident has once again drawn attention to the reported strain between the Beckham and Peltz families, years after the wedding took place.
