The new franchise owner, Kamil Khan has unveiled the team's name as Sialkot Stallionz for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, taking to X (formerly Twitter), Kamil made this announcement. “You guessed it. You waited. Now, I am proud to officially introduce Sialkot Stallionz.”
He reiterated his excitement for participating in the domestic marquee tournament, saying, “Excited to be part of the Pakistan Super League journey.”
It is pertinent to note that originally, a team named Sialkot Stallions used to represent in the National T20 Cup and went on to win many titles under the leadership of ace all-rounder Shoaib Malik. The Stallions had also represented Pakistan in the Champions League T20 (CLT20).
Instead of opting for the ‘s’ letter, Kamil has decided to add the ‘z’ letter that reflects the OZ Developers.
