Pakistan ace all-rounder Shoaib Malik has announced his retirement from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to details that emerged on Tuesday, Malik said he cherished every moment and friendship formed on and off the field during his 10 years in the league. He added that the time had come to call it a day as a PSL player.

He said that his passion and motivation to serve the betterment of cricket would remain unchanged. The former all-rounder also expressed gratitude to the PSL for its role in his career.
It is pertinent to note that Malik has featured in every major T20 competition around the world. He has played 557 T20 matches, scoring 13,571 runs, including 83 half-centuries. With his off-spin, he has also taken 187 wickets in the format.
