The Pakistan Television (PTV) successfully defended a total of just 40 runs to create a landmark moment in the 232-year history of domestic cricket, defeating SNGPL in the President’s Trophy.
According to details surfaced on Saturday, what had never happened before in domestic cricket history took place on the day, as a world record was set in the President’s Trophy. The PTV etched their name into the record books by defending the lowest total ever in the competition.

Chasing 40 runs, SNGPL were dismissed for 37, handing PTV a dramatic two-run victory.
Ali Usman delivered a match-winning spell, claiming six wickets for nine runs. Amad Butt provided strong support, taking four wickets for 28 runs.
