Fresh leaks from Samsung’s internal marketing documents are reigniting speculation around the future of the Galaxy S26 Edge. The promotional material, which outlines upcoming launches, notably skips any reference to the Edge model.
Recently uncovered Samsung marketing documents have revealed details about the company’s upcoming promotional plans. Shared by SamMobile, the material focuses on marketing campaigns and early signup deals planned for the coming months.
While the documents are not meant to confirm final product lineups, their contents — and omissions — are drawing attention.
The promotional document specific to Colombia explicitly mentions the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, there is no reference to a Galaxy S26 Edge anywhere in the material.
This omission does not definitively confirm that the Galaxy S26 Edge will not launch in February. It also does not rule out the possibility of a slimmer Edge-style model appearing later in the year.
Past devices also missing from promo material
Interestingly, the same marketing material does not list the Galaxy S25 Edge, despite that device officially existing. Samsung does reference other previous-generation models, making the absence noticeable.
Given that the Galaxy S25 Edge has reportedly struggled with popularity, Samsung may have opted not to include it in promotional campaigns focused on sales momentum.
Unlike the S25 Edge, the Galaxy S26 Edge is completely missing from the leaked documents. This has strengthened earlier reports suggesting Samsung may have scrapped the model entirely.
Previous reporting indicated that Samsung was accelerating production of the Galaxy S26+, allegedly after abandoning plans for the Edge variant and reverting to its long-standing three-model strategy.
What this could mean for Samsung’s strategy
If the Galaxy S26 Edge has indeed been canceled, it would mark a notable shift in Samsung’s flagship lineup. The Edge variant has historically served as a middle-ground option between standard and premium models.
For now, Samsung has not made any official announcement regarding the Galaxy S26 Edge, leaving room for uncertainty as the expected launch window approaches.
