In a video circulating widely on social media, the 69-year-old actress is seen recalling an old incident involving Javed Sheikh. She remarked that he did not offer her anything to eat at the time because he did not even have his own home then.
Laughing, she added that his house was built and later “broken” in front of her, clarifying jokingly that it was not broken because of her. The comment was followed by loud laughter, which drew mixed reactions online.
Javed Sheikh’s strong response
The 71-year-old actor later reacted strongly to the remarks, appearing visibly upset. He said that while Bushra Ansari may have intended it as a joke, the subject was deeply personal and painful.
Javed Sheikh stated that the destruction of someone’s home or family is not a matter to laugh about. He added that when narrating someone else’s story, one should also reflect on their own, implying that personal struggles should be handled with sensitivity.

Following the exchange, many social media users came out in support of Javed Sheikh, advising Bushra Ansari to be more thoughtful when speaking about someone’s personal life, especially in public.
At the same time, some defended Bushra Ansari, saying the comment was meant purely as humour and that she is known to have a kind heart and no ill intentions.
