Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Sialkot owner Hamza Majeed said on Saturday that investment in cricket infrastructure would be a priority.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Majeed said the revival of community cricket in Sialkot was his foremost objective. He said the Jinnah Stadium would undergo revamping and upgradation.
Majeed said cricket infrastructure would receive substantial investment and that local players would remain the first priority. He added that contacts with foreign players were also under way.
He said Sialkot would serve as the team’s home ground and that local talent would be given preference.
“Hard work and proper planning create their own paths,” Majeed said.
