Fresh claims of royal tension have surfaced, pointing to a growing rift between Queen Camilla and Princess Kate.

According to insiders, the disagreement centers on Prince Harry and whether he should be welcomed back into closer contact with the royal family.

Sources quoted by Radar Online claim Queen Camilla wants no reconciliation with Prince Harry. An insider alleged that she is “revolted” by King Charles’ reportedly softer approach and fully supports Prince William’s “zero-tolerance, no-forgiveness policy.”

The source said Camilla believes Harry’s return would only reopen old wounds.

Princess Kate, however, is said to hold a completely opposite view. Insiders claim she has been encouraging reconciliation between Harry and King Charles, regardless of Camilla’s objections.

One source alleged that Kate believes her position within the monarchy is strengthening as her future role as queen draws closer.

Tensions behind palace doors

According to insiders, the disagreement has led to what was described as a “poisonous showdown” at the palace. Camilla allegedly warned Kate that she was being “naive and reckless,” and accused her of being disloyal to Prince William by not respecting his wishes.

These claims have not been independently verified.

Sources further alleged that Kate has remained patient despite what they described as Camilla’s “bad attitude” toward her throughout the year.
However, the situation involving Prince Harry is said to have significantly heightened tensions.

Insiders claim Camilla’s biggest concern is the possibility of another damaging tell-all from Prince Harry. In his memoir Spare, Harry alleged that Camilla leaked stories about him and Prince William to the media.

The book reportedly deepened mistrust within the family.

Renewed contact with the king

After a rare meeting with King Charles earlier this year, insiders claim Kate intensified efforts to mend relations between father and son.
This reportedly angered Camilla, who believes the talks should not be happening at all.

Following the meeting, Prince Harry wrote to the UK Home Secretary requesting a review of his security arrangements.
The review was granted after Harry lost all appeals in his legal case against the Home Office.

Harry is seeking the restoration of full, default-level security rather than the case-by-case arrangement in place since he stepped down as a working royal in 2020.
