Gold continued to become more expensive in the domestic bullion market. According to market rates, the price of 24-karat gold was increased by Rs500 per tola, reaching a new level of Rs443,562.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs428, bringing it to Rs380,282.
In the international market as well, gold prices recorded an uptick, with the metal gaining $5 to trade at $4,212 per ounce.
Silver prices also saw a notable rise. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs85, reaching an all-time high of Rs6,452.
The price of gold has been fluctuating recently. Recently, on Monday, gold became significantly cheaper across Pakistan as the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs1,200, bringing the new rate to Rs440,662, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
