Pakistan’s pride in aerial combat, JF-17 Thunder, was showcased in spectacular fashion at the Dubai Airshow 2025.
It became the center of attention for both international defence delegations especially the Indian Air Force (IAF) officials and the general public.
According to viral images and reports on social media, pilots and officers of the IAF also visited the Pakistan Air Force pavilion. A significant number of Indian pilots approached the JF-17 Thunder, seeking technical information about the aircraft.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Indian officers and pilots observed the JF-17 Thunder up close, asked questions about its capabilities, and even took selfies with the aircraft. These images are rapidly circulating on social media.
Earlier, it was reported that Azerbaijan would receive the first batch of JF-17 Thunder fighter jets from Pakistan soon, with possibilities of joint production in the future.
He stated that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has expressed keen interest in strengthening defense ties with Pakistan and has also pledged a $2 billion investment in the country.
Tarar confirmed that discussions on Azerbaijan’s investment in Pakistan are in the final stages, and the agreements are expected to be signed during President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Islamabad in April.
