The price of gold saw another massive surge in both global and Pakistan markets on Thursday.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold increased by a massive Rs8,300 per tola on Thursday, reaching Rs443,062, as global rates rose amid steady investor demand.
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs7,116 to Rs379,854, according to the APSGJA.

Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold were priced at Rs348,212, marking an increase of Rs6,524.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $83 per ounce to settle at $4,207. The uptick reflects sustained global interest in precious metals amid economic uncertainty and shifting currency trends.
Silver prices also increase
Silver followed a similar trajectory, with the price per tola rising by Rs228 to Rs5,662. The rate for 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs196 to Rs4,854.
In the international market, silver was trading at $54 per ounce after a modest gain of $2.28.
