The director general of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held an extensive interactive session with teachers and students in Abbottabad, focusing on national security, Pak-Afghan relations, and measures against terrorism and Fitna al-Khawarij.
A large number of students and faculty members from various universities attended the event, which aimed to foster awareness about Pakistan’s security challenges and the nation’s collective role in safeguarding peace and stability.
Addressing the participants, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan has taken effective measures to counter terrorism and the extremist ideology of Fitna al-Khawarij. He reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army remains resolute in defending the homeland, adding that any external aggression will be met with a strong and decisive response.

“The Pakistan Army is determined to uphold the sovereignty of the country. Any threat to national integrity will be responded to sternly,” he said.
Students, teachers praise Pakistan Army’s role
Teachers and students at the event expressed deep appreciation for the sacrifices of martyrs and ghazis, acknowledging the army’s unwavering commitment to peace and national unity.
Hazara University Vice Chancellor Dr Ikramullah Khan said the Pakistan Army is a true symbol of love for the homeland, adding, “Our army is always on the frontline, and we stand firmly behind it.”

Faculty members noted that enemy elements were trying to mislead youth through misinformation, emphasizing the need to provide accurate and reliable information to students to counter false narratives.
'Our doubts have been cleared'
Students shared that the interaction helped dispel misconceptions spread through social media about the Pakistan Army and national affairs. “Today we received accurate information about the false rumors being spread online,” said one student.
Another participant remarked, “The DG ISPR’s responses have cleared our minds regarding the Pakistan Army, national security, and the overall situation in the country.”
