The Punjab government has decided to enforce the Loudspeaker Act rigorously and establish special whistle‑blower cells in each district.
A third meeting on law and order, chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, agreed on the formation of 15 special cells to target extremist groups and unlawfully resident foreign nationals. The government declared that the thuggery and mafia culture are unacceptable, and directed that district peace committees become fully effective without delay.
Mobile police‑station services will be made available to every citizen, with operations and reporting to be handled by the district administration. An official statement clarified that actions will focus exclusively on extremist mind‑sets, not on any community or faith. The administration has been instructed to submit daily reports on foreign‑national evictions and the number of such individuals brought into the tax net.
The public is urged not to rent premises or shops to illegal residents. Legal action under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act will proceed against those spreading hate material on social media.
