The return of illegal Afghan citizens to their country continues, as 5,085 more refugees have crossed over to Afghanistan via the designated border crossings.
As per data, 1,475 men, 1,420 women, and 2,190 children are among the Afghans who have left for different destinations in Afghanistan including Kabul, Khandhar, Mazar-e-Sharif, and other cities.
The authorities said that 829 families have been repatriated in 231 vehicles to Afghanistan. Till now, a total of 203,639 illegal Afghans have been repatriated.
Illegal foreigners residing in Pakistan are continuing their exodus from the country after the government's October 31 deadline expired and a crackdown was launched.
Thousands of Afghans are travelling to Afghanistan through the Torkham and Chaman borders daily. The process has been highly efficient, with a significant departure recorded on October 26 when a total of 4,709 Afghan citizens went back.
Among these returning citizens, 1,104 were men, 952 women, and 2,653 children. Notably, 246 families were repatriated in 153 vehicles to Afghanistan on that particular day.
