The Dubai Fountain, one of the city's premier attractions, is scheduled to reopen on October 1, 2025, following an extensive five-month renovation project.
Developer Emaar confirmed the reopening date, stating the enhancements will create a "more immersive show." The popular attraction, located at the base of the Burj Khalifa, has been closed since May for significant technical and system upgrades.
The renovation involved upgrading the fountain's mechanical, lighting, and sound systems. According to a statement, new equipment was installed to allow for smoother water choreography and more dynamic lighting. The work aimed to elevate the overall spectacle of the water, light, and music performances.
During the closure, digital installations were also added along the surrounding waterfront promenade. When the temporary shutdown was announced in February, Emaar promised the fountain would return "even more spectacular."
