The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore on Wednesday (August 20,2025) officially announced the 9th class result 2025 at 10:00 AM.
According to official figures, out of 308,000 candidates, only 138,000 managed to pass. The science group secured a pass percentage of 47 per cent, while only 37 per cent of candidates from the arts group cleared the exams, leaving 63 per cent of students unsuccessful.
Performance trends revealed that 67 per cent of students from private institutions passed, compared to just 40 per cent of students from government schools. Gender-wise, the results showed girls outperformed boys across both streams. In the science group, 56 per cent of girls passed as compared to 38 per cent of boys. In the arts group, 46 per cent of girls were successful, while the pass rate for boys stood at 21 per cent.
