Nadia Hussain, a well-known figure in Pakistan’s entertainment and beauty industry, is once again in the spotlight—this time for reasons unrelated to her acting or professional achievements.
The model-turned-actress, who is currently starring in Judwaa, is facing intense public criticism over her drastically changed facial appearance.
Nadia, who is also a practicing dentist, aesthetician, and salon owner, has been a familiar face on television and runways for years. However, viewers of Judwaa have taken to social media to express their discontent with her recent look, attributing the change to excessive cosmetic procedures and makeup.

Her performance in the drama, which many agree is otherwise solid, is being overshadowed by discussions around her inability to display natural expressions. One viewer wrote, “Oh my God, what has happened to Nadia Hussain? Fillers and Botox have ruined her face.” Another comment read, “She puts so much makeup on her face, I wonder how she looks without it.”
Several social media users criticized her for overdoing Botox and fillers, claiming it has compromised her facial mobility. Some comments went as far as calling her appearance “villainous” or likening it to “a transgender person in a movie role,” while others felt saddened that she altered her looks when she didn’t need to.
This isn’t the first time Nadia Hussain has been at the centre of a cosmetic surgery debate. Known for her unapologetic stance and confidence, she has previously defended her aesthetic choices. However, the current backlash appears more intense, possibly because it’s tied to her performance in an ongoing drama.
