The 24-karat gold per tola price in Pakistan gained a record Rs800 after which the gold price per tola was recorded at Rs210,000.
The 10 grams of 24-karat gold are being sold at Rs180,041 after an increase of Rs686. It is pertinent to note that in the international market, the price of gold is $2,000 per ounce.
Earlier, the Gems and Jewellers Association had announced changes to the methodology for determining gold prices in Karachi.
"In the international gold rate, a premium of $20 will be included," declared the gold association.
Globally, the gold prices remained stable on Tuesday, with the rate standing at $1,975 per ounce.
