Rajab Butt, a highly popular family vlogger, has finally addressed a persistent question: when will he return home?
The controversial YouTuber, who has been away from Pakistan amid ongoing legal troubles, shared his side of the story in a recent podcast with fellow YouTuber Nadir Ali.
Currently based outside Pakistan, Rajab Butt revealed that he has been staying in Dubai for a while. However, in the podcast, he announced that he’s now heading to Qatar, and from there, will be flying out to London, where he plans to settle temporarily with his close friends and family.
“I’m moving step by step, and once things settle down legally, I’ll be ready to come back,” he said.
The vlogger has been at the centre of a storm ever since he launched a perfume named 295, which sparked major backlash due to its sensitive connotations. His subsequent remarks, seen by many as irresponsible, further fueled the controversy. Legal cases were filed against him, which led to his departure from Pakistan.
In the podcast, Rajab reflected on the situation, “Things are moving behind the scenes. Once he receives a clear directive from the high command, he plans to return.
He clarified that he never meant to hurt anyone and emphasised that his statements were misunderstood. Rajab also apologised once again to those who were offended.
Rajab's vulnerability in discussing his mental health resonated deeply with many listeners. He said the ongoing issues have taken a toll on him and that he longs to return to Pakistan and rebuild, not just personally, but professionally.
“If I get the all-clear and can come back with my money, my family, and my channel, I will do that,” he said with emotion. “I miss my country.”
While there’s still no fixed timeline for his return, Rajab Butt’s statements show he is optimistic and committed to making amends.
