Schools across the region have announced their holiday schedules for February, offering varying break durations depending on their academic calendars in the United Arab EMirates (UAE).
A full week off has been scheduled from Monday, February 10, to Friday, February 14, allowing students and staff to enjoy a nine-day holiday when weekends are included.
Another group of schools will observe a three-day break from Wednesday, February 12, to Friday, February 14, granting students a five-day holiday with the weekend.
A smaller number of schools will have a two-day break on Thursday, February 13, and Friday, February 14, creating a four-day holiday when combined with the weekend. Classes for these schools will resume on Monday, February 17.
As Ramadan approaches, expected to begin on March 1, schools are preparing to implement shorter working hours to accommodate students and staff observing the holy month. Educators have reassured parents that syllabi will be adjusted to ensure a balanced workload, promoting continuity in learning despite the reduced hours.
