National Assembly Opposition Leader Omar Ayub resigned on Tuesday from his position as a member of the Judicial Commission.
The resignation letter, addressed to the National Assembly speaker, was obtained by Samaa News.
In his resignation letter, Ayub cited numerous cases filed against him as the main reason for stepping down.
He stated that due to these legal matters, he could not dedicate the required time to the Judicial Commission.
