Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi assured on Saturday that all participating countries would receive state guest protocol and security.
According to details, Naqvi held a meeting with Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) head Mubashir Usmani to discuss the matters pertaining to the forthcoming Champions Trophy, originally slated to happen in Pakistan, next year in February.
Naqvi called hosting the event an honour and shared that all the security and logistical arrangements were finalised.

The PCB chief welcomed all the teams warmly, saying, "The cricket and politics must remain separate."
The meeting also reviewed the progress on stadium upgrade projects as part of preparations for the tournament.
Naqvi affirmed Pakistan’s readiness for the highly-anticipated tournament.
