The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made it clear that there exists no chance of a hybrid model for hosting the upcoming Champions Trophy.
Sources divulged that the cricket body stated, “Only Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy in 2025. The news about holding the matches of India in Dubai or Sharjah is baseless.”
The PCB had shrugged off the Indian media reports about accepting the hybrid model for the forthcoming mega event.
It is pertinent to note that Indian media had claimed that the PCB had agreed to hold the matches of India in the Champions Trophy on the hybrid model.
