Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was looking to reach consensus with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) over the constitutional amendment.
According to details, the PML-N, PPP, and JUI-F on Friday presented the drafts of the constitutional amendment each. The PPP had urged the need for establishing the constitutional courts both in the centre and provinces.
Meanwhile, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari called on the National Assembly speaker.
On this occasion, the matters pertaining to reaching consensus on the draft were discussed.
The matters relevant to the PTI's non seriousness about the constitutional amendment were also underlined.
Additionally, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar said: "The PTI has not given its opinion about the constitutional amendment."

The PPP had presented a draft for a proposed constitutional amendment, with significant changes aimed at reforming the judicial appointment process.
According to the draft, the PPP had proposed the establishment of a Constitutional Commission to oversee the appointments of judges, ensuring greater transparency and accountability.
The proposed amendments include changes to Article 175A of the Constitution, which would allow for the creation of both federal and provincial constitutional courts. These courts, under the draft, would be referred to as the Supreme Constitutional Court.
The PPP suggested the inclusion of several key figures in the Constitutional Commission, including the Chief Justice, two senior judges from the Constitutional Court, the Federal Minister of Law, the Attorney General, and representatives from the Pakistan Bar Council.
