People’s Republic of China President Xi Jinping has extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his birthday through a special letter.

In the letter, President Xi emphasized the strong and enduring partnership between China and Pakistan, noting that both nations have always supported each other through good and challenging times.

China's President remarked that their relationship has remained unaffected by global changes and continues to thrive.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif attended the 75th National Day ceremony of the People's Republic of China and extended her heartfelt congratulations to Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren and the people of China.

In her address, Maryam Nawaz expressed admiration for China's achievements and its unwavering support for Pakistan.

She stated, “Pakistan-China friendship is built on trust, respect, and a shared vision of a bright future.” She praised China’s consistent support during difficult times, emphasizing that the relationship between the two countries is a testament to their commitment to mutual cooperation and global well-being.

Highlighting the importance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), she described it as "not just a project, but a symbol of hope, development, and prosperity," reshaping Pakistan's economic landscape.
