A child in Bannu has been confirmed to have polio virus, said the spokesman of the Ministry of Health.
The spokesperson said number of polio cases in the country this year has increased to three.
This nationwide campaign, more than 2.4 million children under five years will receive polio drops.
The health authoritires urged nation to act together to ensure a brighter, polio-free future for every child. Ministry of health said Vitamin-A strengthens the immune system, prevents diseases, and improves child health. Remember, every child aged 6-59 months gets Vitamin-A along with polio drops during the ongoing nationwide polio campaign.
