On the occasion of 77th Independence Day, many events are being held in Balochistan. Two major events were held in Quetta on August 12 in which Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti was invited as a chief guest.
The first event, Balochistan Independence Day Open Shooting Championship was held from August 7 to 10. Second event was a display of cavalry and javelin. Different teams participated in these compactions to display their skills.
Baloch cultural dance and Balochi Chap added color to the event. Apart from this, show jumps were also exhibited in which Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, Balochistan constabulary, students of Cadet College Mustang, and children took part. During the event, an exhibition polo match was also played between Pakistan Army and Balochistan Constabulary, in which Pakistan Army won.
Prices were distributed among high achievers of competitions by Chief Minister. Balochistan Rifle Association thanked Pak-Army and government for organizing this championship.
