High Commissioner Syed Ahmed Maruf has emphasised the importance of student safety, advising them to remain indoors and avoid areas of conflict.
The High Commission is maintaining regular contact with students and working closely with local authorities to provide necessary assistance.
According to Maruf, about one-third of the Pakistani student population in Bangladesh has already returned home.
The High Commission is actively facilitating the departure of remaining students and has established a communication network to monitor their safety.
The unrest in Bangladesh, triggered by protests against a controversial jobs quota system, has seen more than 80 fatalities and numerous injuries since its escalation.
The civil disobedience movement, initially led by students, has resulted in a violent crackdown by authorities, including a shoot-on-sight order, further exacerbating the crisis.
