Karachi

In Karachi, the weather remains pleasant with restored sea breezes and light clouds. The current temperature is 33°C with 68% humidity. The Met Department predicts monsoon winds entering eastern Sindh by evening, bringing anticipated rain to areas including Tharparkar, Umarkot, Sukkur, Badin, Larkana, Qamber Shahdadkot, and Mirpurkhas.

A pre-monsoon spell is expected in the city starting from July 8.

Lahore

Lahore experienced intermittent rain throughout the day, significantly reducing the intensity of the heat. The temperature is expected to reach up to 34°C, with the rain continuing until July 8 as forecasted by Chief Meteorologist Shahid Abbas.

Areas like Gulberg, Model Town, Jail Road, and Kalma Chowk witnessed varying intensities of rain and strong winds, contributing to the pleasant weather conditions.

Murree

In Murree, the monsoon rains have intensified, accompanied by thunder and heavy downpours. Tourists visiting the hill station are enjoying the scenic beauty enhanced by the rain. The weather has turned pleasant, providing relief from the earlier summer heat.

Balochistan

Parts of Balochistan, including Khuzdar, Kohlu, Harnai, and Jhal Magsi, have also experienced rainfall. In Khuzdar's Wadh and Baghbana areas, heavy rain accompanied by hail and strong winds caused damage to crops, agricultural machinery, and solar panels.

Similarly, Kohlu and Jhal Magsi witnessed flooding in low-lying areas due to heavy rains. Intermittent rain continues in Harnai, contributing to the overall cooler climate in the region.
