Islamabad High Court (IHC) accepted the request to transfer the case to the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka.
District and Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjumand had written a letter to the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for the transfer of the case.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka will now hear the illegal marriage case during Iddat period of the Bushra bibi.
Former husband of the Bushra bibi, Khawar Manika objected to Judge Shahrukh Arjumand.
PTI lawyers also thrashed Khawar Manika during his last hearing. An FIR has been registered against the lawyer and some of the accused also got bail in the case as well.
Former prime minister Imran Khan and Bushra bibi denied all charges against them in the iddat nikkah case.
