In the first phase, the delegation of the IMF's advance team reached Pakistan for negotiations on the next long-term loan program from the international lender.
The IMF-led mission is likely to reach Pakistan on the night of May 16. Some members of the IMF mission reached Pakistan for the talks.

The advance team will collect data from various departments. The mission members will also work on the budget together with the finance ministry officials
