Rural Municipal Services Company sacked two senior officers from the job on allegations of corruption and poor performance in the project of making 16 tehsils of Punjab as the model tehsils.
The provincial government terminated the services of Chief Infrastructure Development Engineer Jameel Ahmed and CFO Zubayd Al Hasan.
The Board of Directors meeting suspended them from their jobs after finding solid evidence against the two officers.
The project was started in June 2022 with the support of the World Bank (WB).
According to Asadullah, the CEO of the company, the two officers have harmed the company in conjunction with private individuals and now an inquiry will be held against both the officers.
