Two ice glaciers burst at Naran, a popular tourist area in Balakot, in a disastrous turn of events that crushed several hotels and homes beneath their weight.

Tens of millions of rupees in potential financial losses have been raised by the occurrence. The Kaghan Development Authority quickly called an emergency meeting to discuss the problem and established a special team whose job it was to determine how much damage had been done.

According to reports from Naran, yesterday's eruption of the Ghamla and Chapran glaciers on Lake Road caused avalanches that buried several businesses.

However, several avalanches that have blocked the roads have made it extremely difficult to approach Naran, impeding government agencies' efforts to offer complete damage assessments.

Muhammad Shabbir Khan, the director general of the Kaghan Development Authority, presided over the emergency meeting and formed a team to assess the damage as soon as possible. The committee's duties include assisting in the reopening of Naran Road and presenting its suggestions to the board.

After the road is cleared, quick action will be taken to support the impacted Lake Road property owners in their restoration.
