Reacting to the news of Elvish Yadav's arrest in the snake venom case, Munawar Faruqui told Indian media that he was unaware of the arrest.
He told media persons that his phone was switched off and did not know anything about the incident. "I am away from social media...my phone was switched off...I don't know anything about it," he told Indian media when asked Elvish Yadav was arrested.
Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT, was sent to 14 days of judicial custody on Sunday about a case under the Wild Life Protection Act 1972.

He was arrested and appeared in the District and Sessions Court in Surajpur, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh earlier in the day.
