CENTURION: Muhammad Hafeez struck 86 off 51 balls as Pakistan set South Africa 196 to win in the second and last Twenty20 match at Centurion on Sunday.
Hafeez hit four 6s and nine 4s to propel Pakistan to 195 in 20 overs. He was out in an unusual manner, dislodging the stumps with his right foot while attempting a shot.
The skipper was well supported by Ahmad Shahzad, who made 46 from 25 balls with two 6s and six 4s before getting run-out.
Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik could not contribute much with the bat scoring 11 and 7 runs respectively. Shahid Afridi (19) helped Pakistan finish the inning at 195/7.
The first T20 match between the two sides was abandoned due to rain. – SAMAA
