Faisalabad residents stage protest against load shedding

Staff Report

FAISALABAD: Residents of Railway Colony area of the city stopped Karakoram Express while protesting against prolonged power cuts on Thursday.

Yesterday, Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) cut off power supply of the area over nonpayment.

The protesters were aware that AGM Railways Ghulam Mehmood Qureshi was in the train so they stopped the train and told him about their problems regarding power load shedding.

The protest was ended when Qureshi assured the protesters that their problem would be solved soon. SAMAA
