QUETTA: Pakistan International Airlines’ first Hajj flight carrying 329 pilgrims left Quetta airport for Jeddah on Thursday, SAMAA reported.
When PIA flight PK-2801 having 329 pilgrims onboard left for Jeddah from Quetta airport no government official had come to the airport to see off the pilgrims. However, a large number of relatives of the pilgrims were present at the airport to see off pilgrims.
The pilgrims before their departure said they would pray for the development of the country and the Muslim Ummah.
It should be noted that Hajj flights left for Saudi on Wednesday form Peshawar and early this morning from Lahore. About 41 PIA flights will carry pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from Quetta.
The pilgrims hoped that they would not face any difficulty during Hajj rituals owing to better arrangements of the government. -SAMAA
