ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister for religious affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi has been released on bail in Hajj corruption case today; supporters have started celebration on his release and preparation to welcome him in Multan, SAMAA reported on Monday.
Earlier this day, Hamid Saeed Kazmi’s bail was approved by Special Care Taker Judge (Central) in Hajj graft case. The court also issued orders for his release on two bail papers of Rs. 100,000 lac each.
Following court’s orders, Hamid Saeed Kazmi has been released from the prison, on bail, this evening. Kazmi talked briefly to media after release and told that he immediately intends to leave for Multan.
At the other side, a large number of Kazmi’s supporters started celebration in Multan over his bail approval and release. They are also preparing to welcome their leader very warmly on his arrival in Multan.
Kazmi’s supporters also distributed sweets on his release and said on the occasion that the time has proven that all allegations against him are baseless. SAMAA
