NOWSHERA: At least six people including four women were killed in a firing incident in the city area of Watr, SAMAA reports Monday.

The police source said some gunmen opened indiscriminate gunfire at a house in Watr area killing six people and injuring two others early this morning.

According to police sources, a girl from Watr fled home and married for love. On this, the enraged family of the girl assaulted the house of her groom causing the death of six people including four women and injuring two others.

The injured have been shifted to Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital. According to police, the deceased include four women as well as the lover couple.  SAMAA
