ISLAMABAD: Several dignitaries including Chairman Senate, military leadership and other foreign ambassadors called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and offered him Eid greetings on the Islamic annual festival of Eidul Fitr, SAMAA reports Modnay.

According to details, Chairman Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, the PAF Chief Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafiq Butt and Pak Navy chief Admiral Asif Sandela and extended to him Eid congratulations.

The high-ups remained with the Prime Minister for some time and discussed several issues of mutual interest.

Ambassadors of different countries also visited the Prime Minister and gave him Eid felicitations. On this occasion, thought was given to boosting bilateral ties among the friend countries. SAMAA
