MIRANSHAH: At least five people were killed in a missile strike on a house located in Shawal area of North Waziristan Agency (NWA), the government source says Saturday.

Three people were also injured in the attack, sources said.

The house was completely damaged in the attack. The injured people were taken to hospital for treatment.

Local intelligence officials confirmed the attack and casualties.

The attack came as people in the deeply religious region celebrated the Muslim festival of Eid al-Fitr, they said. SAMAA
