A Hindu girl, Manisha, embraced Islam and got married with Ghulam Mustafa of Jacobabad after moving to Amroth Sharif on August 06. She also changed her name to Mahwish.

The affair that started with friendship on phone culminated in the girl’s conversion to Islam and marriage. The incident coincided with the purported migration of Sindh’s Hindu families to India on the pretext of the law and order.

Meantime, Rivat Mall, Manisha’s father said that his daughter was kidnapped and alleged that it is a case of forced conversion. SAMAA
