RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani led a meeting of the Corps Commanders mulled over security and professional issues in GHQ.
According to army sources, the army chief briefed the meeting about ISAF Commander in Afghanistan Gen. John Allen’s recent GHQ visit.
The meeting pondered over ISAF, Afghan National security Force, Military cooperation with NATO, border security matters along with regional and professional issues.
The ISI chief, Gen. Zahir-ul-Islam briefed the meeting about his recent US tour including meeting with CIA chief Davis Petreas and dialogue over exchange of secret information over war against the terror.
The Corps Commanders’ meeting also reviewed professional issues including Pakistan Army’s capacity of performing various concerned tasks. SAMAA
