RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani will today chair a Corps Commanders Conference to discuss issues relating the regional and national security, SAMAA reports Friday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the monthly Corps Commanders Moot will be convened at the Pak Army’s GHQ here after iftaar dinner today.

The sources told SAMAA that the Army Chief Kayani will take the military leadership in confidence over International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Commander General John Allen’s visit to the Pak Army’s headquarters here.

Meantime, Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Zaheerul Islam will apprise the Corps Commanders of his US visit and his meeting with director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) David Petraeus. SAMAA
