KARACHI: Many Hindu Families of Sindh province have allegedly started shifting to India; the Chief Minister has formed a three-member probe committee under provincial Minority Minister Mukesh Chawla to examine the issue, SAMAA reported on Thursday.
According to details, 17 persons of four Hindu families of Jackobabad allegedly left from Lahore through Samjhota Express to India.
At time of departure, very sentimental situation was seen on the railway station while the departing Hindu family members said on the occasion that they are happy over shifting to India but they will always remember their country there.
Hindus feel unsafe in various areas of Sindh as they are being discriminated in those areas; due to increased crimes of kidnapping for ransom in their areas, they were compelled to leave the country, said the India going Hindu family members.
It is being said that further 50 Hindu families’ departure to India will continue during next 10 days. SAMAA
