According to details, 17 persons of four Hindu families of Jackobabad allegedly left from Lahore through Samjhota Express to India.

At time of departure, very sentimental situation was seen on the railway station while the departing Hindu family members said on the occasion that they are happy over shifting to India but they will always remember their country there.

Hindus feel unsafe in various areas of Sindh as they are being discriminated in those areas; due to increased crimes of kidnapping for ransom in their areas, they were compelled to leave the country, said the India going Hindu family members.
