GHOTKI: Two sisters were killed by their brother on charges of karo-kari in Ghotki district of Sindh on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Pir Bux village on the outskirts of Ghokti.

According to reports, accused Sadiq shot dead his sister Sumani for bringing dishonor upon the family while his younger sister Marvi was also critically injured during attempts to save her sister.

She later died of her wounds.

The suspect fled the house after the murders.

Police reached the scene and shifted dead bodies to Obaro Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Sumani was accused of having an affair with a village boy named Sajid. - SAMAA
