SAJAWAL: An eleven year old little girl was married to an affluent person of the area in Sajawal but police have arrested all involved in the marriage including husband, SAMAA reported on Tuesday.
According to details, a resident of Goth Hashim Machi on Jati Road in Sajawal allegedly sold and married forcefully her 11-year old sister, Ameena, to an affluent person of the area.
After receiving complaint of girl’s father, the local police immediately raided; they recovered the girl and arrested her husband, mother, brother and Nikah Khawan.
Police have launched further probe into issue after registering report of the incident. SAMAA
